Today I stopped by our club pool to sign Will & Olivia up for private swimming lessons. Earlier in the week I had asked Will if he would prefer a boy or girl teacher. He said he would like to have a boy teacher. On the way home, I brought it up again with him today.
"Will, are you excited? You're going to take swimming lessons! Do you think you'll get a boy teacher or a girl?"
"I already told you. I want a boy teacher because I'm a boy."
"But what if the best teacher is a girl?"
Pause
"Okay, fine then. We can have a girl. Just get one with pretty hair."
